Popular singer and actor Tahsan Khan is not getting married to a new-reader, contrary to false reports carried by various news portals in Bangladesh and West Bengal in February. Tahsan posted on his verified Facebook account timeline, denying the reports, and asking his fans to not share “information from fake online portals.”
Tahsan, while speaking to FactKhuji today, said, “A similar rumour was doing the rounds about six months ago as well. Many news outlets including Prothom Alo carried the news. Again, the story has been circulated with pictures of an unnamed lady. There is no truth to this.”
The report carried by various news portals like Prothom Alo, Jugantor, Ittefaq, Inqilab, Bangladesh Protidin, News24, somoynews.tv etc all carried the reports of Tahsan’s supposed wedding with the unnamed news reader, with catchy headlines, even thought the reports were clearly false.
Yesterday einews24.com republished the old reports and moralnews24.com made it viral by posting in their Facebook group, as a result of which Tahsan published his official denial, and asked fans to not share the false reports.
